Abstract
Prenatally diagnosed abdominal mass includes ovarian cyst, enteric duplication cyst, mesenteric cyst, hepato-biliary mass, and mass identified in originated organ (liver, adrenal gland, kidney and spleen). Most of fetal abdominal mass is regressed in fetal period or decreases in size and surgical resection is possible if mass remains after birth. Most cystic masses are benign but 2% of them are malignant. A neonatal female was delivered at 39+2 week gestational age. Prenatal ultrasound at 32 week gestational age showed a cyst in the right abdomen. After birth, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging showed 6.8 cm sized cystic mass but could not identify the exact origin of cyst. Surgical resection of cyst was performed at 10 days of age. Cyst was originated from uterus wall. Pathologic finding was cystic mass with dystrophic calcification in the cystic wall without epithelial cell in cyst. So we diagnosed benign uterine
cystic mass in fetus. She discharged without complication. We report rare case of fetal uterine cystic mass.
